PBS Level 2B Overtaking Assessment and Safety Review on 33A, 33B and 27C Mackay/Whitsunday district is receiving several PBS2B movements on 33B. Therefore this proposed project will reassess the route and update the overtaking classifications and safety review findings based on the changes to the alignment and overtaking opportunities due to the recent upgrade works on 33B. Also, this will assess the suitability of PBS2B movement through Walkerston township in a safety aspect. This assessment include 33A and 27C, identify where overtaking lanes should be provided to cater for the future growth.
